Das erste von insgesamt vier Soloalben Berresheims offenbarte nicht nur die musikalischen Skills des Multiinstrumentalisten, sondern lieferte mit seinen atmosphärischen, gleichermaßen experimentellen wie dubbigen Sounds, die ganz gut in der Schnittmenge zwischen Nurse With Wound und den Residents platziert werden können, auch eine Art Blaupause für die beiden letzten Alben der Wait Watchers. Bild und Ton stehen hier einmal mehr in engem Zusammenhang, handelt es sich bei den vier Tracks doch um Versuche die Erinnerung an die Atmosphäre biografisch relevanter Orte, die ihrerseits in Form von überarbeiteten Fotografien als Klappcover mitgeliefert werden, zu vertonen. Die zweite Hälfte der 2010er Jahre, mehr oder weniger, waren dann in erster Linie von Soloproduktionen geprägt – inklusive Money (2007), einem Konzeptalbum zum Thema Geld, und dem zwischen Plunderphonics und Elektroakustik changierenden Studies in Future Blues (2010), einem Release mit Computermusik, den er zur ersten Station einer Ausstellungstrilogie und der gleichnamigen LED-Arbeit aufgenommen hat.
